The De Anza Dons volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Pinole Valley Spartans to 1 in the Dons non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Dons now have a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Patrick-St. Vincent for a Tri-County game on Tuesday, March 15. De Anza will meet a Bruins team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to De La Salle (Concord, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 2-3.
The Spartans (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA). The Pride enter the Tri-County game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Salesian College Preparatory dropped by Kennedy (Richmond, CA), 3-1, in a league game.
