California High School Softball - Scripps Ranch bounces Otay Ranch

Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA), 8-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Helix for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 12. Scripps Ranch will battle a Highlanders squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Otay Ranch falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host University City (San Diego, CA) to battle the Centurions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 22. The Centurions enter the challenge with a record of 3-2.
