Eagle Pass Eagles (Eagle Pass, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host United Longhorns (Laredo, TX), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alexander for a 6A Region IV District 30 challenge on Monday, March 14. Eagle Pass will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 15-5 league loss to United South (Laredo, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-9.

With the loss, United falls to 10-11 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Del Rio (Del Rio, TX) to face the Rams in a 6A Region IV District 30 challenge on Friday, March 11. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 8-5. Del Rio lost 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX)
