The Summerville Green Wave the host Brookland-Cayce Bearcats baseball team by a count of 4-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Green Wave now possess a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Oceanside Collegiate Academy for a non-league bout on Monday, March 20.
Next, the Bearcats face the Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins (Orangeburg, SC) in a 3A Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, March 14. Brookland-Cayce will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.
