The Grants Pirates baseball team scored 2 runs and limited the host Del Norte Knights to 1 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates (8-2) will now prepare for their match against Pueblo West (Pueblo West, CO). The Cyclones go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Pueblo West was edged by Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO), 10-5, in a non-league match.
The Knights (0-7) will now prepare for their match against Highland (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets go into the non-league match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Highland was edged by Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 11-0, in a non-league match.
