Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Lake View Wild Gators (Lake View, SC), 7-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Fairmont upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Golden Tornadoes travel to St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC) to battle the Bulldogs in a Southeastern Athletic 2A test on Tuesday, March 14. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-3. St. Pauls won 15-5 in their recent non-league test against West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC)

With the defeat, Lake View falls to 0-1 on the season. The Wild gators travel to Lamar (Lamar, SC) to battle the Silver Foxes in a 1A Region 6 test on Tuesday, March 14. The Silver Foxes come into the test with a record of 1-6. Lamar lost 10-8 in their recent non-league test against McBee (McBee, SC)
