The Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR) basketball crushed the visiting Marist Spartans (Eugene, OR), 74-45 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cougars (21-3) will now prepare for their test against Junction City (Junction City, OR). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 25-2 record. In their last test, Junction City walloped Gladstone (Gladstone, OR), 68-37, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 13-12 record. They play next when they travel to Gladstone for a non-league test on Friday, March 10. Marist will encounter a Gladiators squad coming off a 68-37 non-league loss to Junction City (Junction City, OR). The Gladiators record now stands at 15-10.
