In Thursday's league battle, the host Anaheim Colonists volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Western Pioneers.

The Colonists (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Magnolia (Anaheim, CA). The Sentinels come into the battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Magnolia lost by Samueli Academy (Santa Ana, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Pioneers clash with the Santiago Cavaliers (Garden Grove, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 10. Western will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record.
