In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting North Wilkes Vikings soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Bunker Hill Bears.
The Vikings (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Rams go into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Starmount was nudged by Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC), 7-0, in a non-league battle.
