Springstead Eagles (Spring Hill, FL) followers left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their softball team defeat the visiting Central Bears (Brooksville, FL), 17-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Springstead improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Lecanto (Lecanto, FL) to clash with the Panthers in a game on Friday, March 10. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 4-3. Lecanto lost 14-11 in their recent non-league game against Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL)
