North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Union Pines drops to Cape Fear

March 9, 2023: Fayetteville, NC 28312

In Thursday's league test, the host Cape Fear Colts lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-3 victory over the Union Pines Vikings.

The Colts now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pinecrest for a United 8/All American/Sandhills test on Monday, March 13. Cape Fear will face a Patriots squad coming off a 21-0 league win over Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 4-1.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) in a test, on Friday, March 10. Union Pines will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Bears come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 20-1 non-league loss to Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC).
