North Carolina High School Softball - Clayton can't get by Rolesville

March 9, 2023: Clayton, NC 27520

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Rolesville Rams (Rolesville, NC) softball team held off the host Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC), by a margin of 4-3.

With the triumph, Rolesville moves its record to 1-3 on the year. The Rams host Union Pines (Cameron, NC) to play the Vikings in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 18. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 3-3.

In their next game, the Comets play the Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC) in a Greater Neuse River 4A contest, on Tuesday, March 14. Clayton will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record.
