Mogollon Mustangs (Heber, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Fort Thomas Apaches (Fort Thomas, AZ), 14-4 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Superior for a 1A East challenge on Tuesday, March 21. Mogollon will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Williams (Williams, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Fort Thomas falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Apaches host Hayden (Winkelman, AZ) to battle the Lobos in a 1A East challenge on Tuesday, March 21. The Lobos enter the challenge with a record of 0-3.
