North Carolina High School Softball - Mount Pleasant bounces Gray Stone Day

March 9, 2023: Mt. Pleasant, NC 28124

The Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) softball routed the visiting Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC), 10-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Tigers (5-0) will now prepare for their bout against South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls go into the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, South Stanly toppled Piedmont (Monroe, NC), 6-1, in a non-league bout.

The Knights now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host North Stanly for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A bout on Tuesday, March 14. Gray Stone Day will confront a Comets squad coming off a 13-0 league win over Robinson (Concord, NC). The Comets record now stands at 3-3.
