The Southeast Guilford Falcons softball team scored 27 runs and limited the host Grimsley Whirlies to 7 in the Falcons league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Southeast Guilford improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Falcons travel to Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to clash with the Nighthawks in a Metro 4A game on Friday, March 10. The Nighthawks come into the game with a record of 2-3. Northern Guilford lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Randleman (Randleman, NC)

In their next game, the Whirlies clash with the Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A game, on Monday, March 13. Grimsley will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 2-2 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to McMichael (Mayodan, NC).
