The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Slaughter Community Charter Knights (Slaughter, LA) and the host St. Michael Warriors (Baton Rouge, LA), saw Slaughter Community Charter's softball squad nip St. Michael by a count of 14-10.
The Knights now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host St. Michael for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 4.
With the loss, St. Michael falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host St. Scholastica (Covington, LA) to face the Doves in a non-league match on Saturday, March 11. The Doves enter the match with a record of 0-1. St. Scholastica lost 14-3 in their recent non-league match against Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA)
