In Saturday's non-league game, the host Cobre Indians baseball team scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Silver Fighting Colts.
The Indians (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Jefferson (El Paso, TX). The Silver Foxes go into the non-league game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Jefferson tipped Tombstone (Tombstone, AZ), 9-0, in a non-league game.
