The Grants Pirates baseball team scored 27 runs and limited the visiting Gallup Bengals to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Saturday.
The Pirates (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Demons go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Santa Fe was overwhelmed by Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 18-1, in a non-league match.
The Bengals (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Belen (Belen, NM). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Belen gained a win over Clovis (Clovis, NM), 8-3, in a non-league match.
