The Mohawk Area Warriors basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Moniteau Warriors to 42 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Warriors now sport a 20-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ellwood City for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 13. Mohawk Area will meet a Wolverine team coming off a 62-44 non-league win over Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA). The Wolverine record now stands at 18-9.
