The Clinton Dark Horses smashed the visiting East Carteret Mariners soccer squad by a margin of 6-0 in Saturday's non-league match.

The Dark Horses now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to D.H. Conley for a non-league match on Monday, March 11. Clinton will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, East Carteret drops to 1-1 on the season. The Mariners travel to Swansboro (Swansboro, NC) to encounter the Pirates in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 12.
