Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats (Augusta, GA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Heritage Hawks (Newnan, GA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats face the Gatewood Gators (Eatonton, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 12. Westminster Schools of Augusta will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Gators enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 4-2 league win over Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA).

The Hawks now have a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Our Lady of Mercy Catholic for a GIAA AAA/AAAA District 5 challenge on Tuesday, March 12. Heritage will face a Bobcats team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Harvester Christian Academy (Douglasville, GA). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-0.
