Louisiana High School Softball - Assumption bounces Parkview Baptist

Assumption Mustangs (Napoleonville, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Parkview Baptist Eagles (Baton Rouge, LA), 24-15 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now sport a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morgan City for a 4A District 7 challenge on Tuesday, March 12. Assumption will face a Tigers squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to St. James (St. James, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-9.
With the loss, Parkview Baptist falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Port Allen (Port Allen, LA) to face the Pelicans in a 3A District 6 challenge on Tuesday, March 12. The Pelicans enter the challenge with a record of 0-13.
