Elizabeth Bulldogs (Elizabeth, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Oakdale Warriors (Oakdale, LA), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westminster Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 11.

With the loss, Oakdale falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Warriors host Glenmora (Glenmora, LA) to battle the Wildcats in a 2A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, March 12. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Glenmora lost 15-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, LA)
