The Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers triumphed over the visiting Chesapeake Cougars baseball team by a count of 18-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Whitman for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 10.
With the defeat, Chesapeake falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Northeast (Pasadena, MD) to face the Eagles in a Anne Arundel County game on Saturday, March 21. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 0-0.
