Texas High School Baseball - Highlands defeats Lanier

March 9, 2026: San Antonio, TX 78207

The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Highlands Owls (San Antonio, TX) and the host Lanier Voks (San Antonio, TX), saw Highlands's baseball team gain a win over Lanier by a tally of 9-2.

The Owls (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against Burbank (San Antonio, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 5A Region IV District 27 battle with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Burbank was overwhelmed by Edison (San Antonio, TX), 5-1, in a league contest.

The Voks now possess a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson for a 5A Region IV District 27 contest on Wednesday, March 11. Lanier will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 13-0 league win over Sam Houston (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-8.
