Texas High School Baseball - Lamesa edges Stanton

In Monday's league game, the visiting Lamesa Tornadoes baseball squad scored a tight 5-2 triumph over the Stanton Buffaloes.

With the triumph, Lamesa moves its record to 7-4 on the season. The Tornadoes host Coahoma (Coahoma, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a 3A Region I District 3 match on Friday, March 13. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 4-3. Coahoma won 7-4 in their recent non-league match against Merkel (Merkel, TX)

The Buffaloes now possess a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brownfield for a 3A Region I District 3 game on Friday, March 13. Stanton will play a Cubs team coming off a 7-5 league win over Crane (Crane, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 6-9.
