Alabama High School Baseball - Sylvania loses to Section

March 9, 2026: Sylvania, AL 35988

Section Lions (Section, AL) followers left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Sylvania Rams (Sylvania, AL), 8-3 in a non-league game.

The Lions (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Collinsville (Collinsville, AL). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Collinsville tipped Thomasville (Thomasville, AL), 1-0, in a non-league match.

The Rams now have a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ider for a non-league match on Thursday, March 12. Sylvania will play a Hornets team coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to Fyffe (Fyffe, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 7-2.
