Mendenhall Tigers (Mendenhall, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Northeast Jones Tigers (Laurel, MS), 6-0 in a league test.
With the win, Mendenhall upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season.
With the defeat, Northeast Jones falls to 6-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Richland (Richland, MS) to battle the Rangers in a test on Tuesday, April 6. The Rangers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Richland won 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Magee (Magee, MS)
