The West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), 11-1 in Friday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Colts encounter the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A contest, on Tuesday, April 5. West Stanly will attempt to better on its 10-1 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the contest with a 5-7 record after their 11-0 league win over Monroe (Monroe, NC).
