The Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL) baseball trounced the host Locust Fork Hornets (Locust Fork, AL), 7-1 in Friday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Eagles play the Donoho Falcons (Anniston, AL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 2. Appalachian will attempt to better on its 15-2 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 8-3 record after their 15-0 league win over Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, AL).

The Hornets now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Cleveland for a 2A Area 11 contest on Monday, April 4. Locust Fork will play a Panthers squad coming off a 14-7 non-league loss to Hayden (Hayden, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 8-15.
