California High School Baseball - Argonaut sneaks past Sonora

Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Argonaut Mustangs (Jackson, CA) and the visiting Sonora Wildcats (Sonora, CA), saw Argonaut's baseball squad edge Sonora by a count of 2-1.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Amador Buffaloes (Sutter Creek, CA) in a Mother Lode League battle, on Tuesday, April 5. Argonaut will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Buffaloes enter the battle with a 6-8 record after their 5-3 league loss to Calaveras (San Andreas, CA).

The Wildcats now possess a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Summerville for a Mother Lode League battle on Tuesday, April 5. Sonora will play a Bears squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA). The Bears record now stands at 6-11.
