In Friday's league game, the visiting Auburn Eagles baseball team scored a tight 8-2 victory over the Grayson County Blue Devils.
The Eagles (5-0) will now prepare for their game against North Cross (Roanoke, VA). The Raiders go into the non-league game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, North Cross tipped Grace Christian (Staunton, VA), 12-1, in a non-league game.
The Blue Devils (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Galax (Galax, VA). The Maroon Tide go into the Mountain Empire game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Galax tipped Graham (Bluefield, VA), 11-4, in a non-league game.
