In Friday's league game, the visiting La Mirada Matadores baseball team scored a nice 12-1 victory over the Bellflower Buccaneers.

The Matadores (13-4) will now prepare for their game against Mayfair (Lakewood, CA). The Monsoons go into the Suburban game with a 9-9 record. In their last game, Mayfair overcame Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA), 6-1, in a league game.
