The East Chapel Hill Wildcats baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves to 5 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats (7-3) will now prepare for their match against Southern Alamance (Graham, NC). The Patriots go into the DAC-VII 4A match with a 10-4 record. In their last match, Southern Alamance edged Western Alamance (Elon, NC), 13-1, in a non-league match.
The Fighting Red Wolves (6-6) will now prepare for their match against Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC). The Eagles go into the Central 3A match with a 7-5 record. In their last match, Eastern Alamance edged Williams (Burlington, NC), 7-4, in a league match.
