The Central Wildcats baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host St. Michael Warriors to 5 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the 5A District 4 match with a 10-13 record. In their last match, Denham Springs was overwhelmed by Central (Baton Rouge, LA), 4-2, in a non-league match.
The Warriors (6-11) will now prepare for their match against Brusly (Brusly, LA). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 4-11 record.
