North Carolina High School Baseball - Chase loses to Polk County

The Polk County Wolverines the host Chase Trojans baseball team by a tally of 5-2 in Friday's league bout.

The Wolverines now hold a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host North Henderson for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 6. Polk County will face a Knights team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Madison (Marshall, NC). The Knights record now stands at 9-3.

Next, the Trojans face the Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) in a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A bout, on Tuesday, April 5. Chase will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 8-3 record after their 11-6 league win over Patton (Morganton, NC).
