In Friday's non-league game, the host Chelsea Hornets baseball team scored a tight 10-5 victory over the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers.
The Hornets (9-8) will now prepare for their game against Prattville (Prattville, AL). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 20-3 record. In their last game, Prattville tipped Houston (Germantown, TN), 6-5, in a non-league game.
The Cavaliers (6-15) will now prepare for their game against Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, AL). The Spartans go into the 5A Area 9 game with a 5-6 record.
