The Colbert Heights Wildcats baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Red Bay Tigers to 6 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats (15-8) will now prepare for their match against Lauderdale County (Rogersville, AL). The Tigers go into the 3A Area 16 match with a 13-4 record. In their last match, Lauderdale County tipped Lexington (Lexington, AL), 5-0, in a non-league match.
The Tigers (5-10) will now prepare for their match against Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 16-2 record. In their last match, Hackleburg tipped Phillips (Bear Creek, AL), 15-1, in a league match.
