North Carolina High School Baseball - Concord can't hold off Northwest Cabarrus

In Friday's league game, the visiting Northwest Cabarrus Trojans baseball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Concord Spiders.
The Trojans (9-2) will now prepare for their game against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Knights go into the South Piedmont 3A game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Lake Norman Charter was edged by South Rowan (China Grove, NC), 18-0, in a league game.
The Spiders (4-7) will now prepare for their game against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Falcons go into the South Piedmont 3A game with a 9-3 record. In their last game, West Rowan tipped Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 10-1, in a league game.
