In Friday's league game, the visiting Dudley Panthers baseball team scored a tight 9-5 victory over the Northeast Guilford Rams.
The Panthers (8-1) will now prepare for their game against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC). The Cougars go into the Mid-State 3A game with a 7-5 record. In their last game, Rockingham County tipped High Point Central (High Point, NC), 11-0, in a league game.
The Rams (4-9) will now prepare for their game against Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC). The Camels go into the Mid-State 3A game with a 9-3 record. In their last game, Atkins was overwhelmed by Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC), 12-2, in a league game.
