The Fairfield Central Griffins baseball team (Winnsboro, SC), was overwhelmed 12-0 in Friday's league outing with the host Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC)

The Rebels now hold a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Keenan for a AAA Region 4 outing on Tuesday, April 5. Mid-Carolina will face a Raiders team coming off a 20-9 league loss to Lower Richland (Hopkins, SC). The Raiders record now stands at 0-6.

Next, the Griffins face the Westwood Redhawks (Blythewood, SC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, April 8. Fairfield Central will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Redhawks enter the outing with a 3-1 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Colleton County (Walterboro, SC).
