Parklane Academy Pioneers (McComb, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Jackson Academy Raiders (Jackson, MS), 13-11 in a league test.

With the win, Parklane Academy upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Pioneers host Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Madison, MS) to battle the Patriots in a MAIS AAAAA District 1 test on Monday, April 4. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 22-3. Madison-Ridgeland Academy won 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Kirk Academy (Grenada, MS)

With the defeat, Jackson Academy falls to 14-5 on the season. The Raiders travel to Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS) to battle the Bobcats in a MAIS AAAAA District 1 test on Tuesday, April 5. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 11-8. Presbyterian Christian lost 10-6 in their recent league test against Hartfield Academy (Flowood, MS)
