In Friday's league game, the host John Curtis Christian Patriots baseball team scored a nice 15-0 victory over the St. Augustine Purple Knights.
The Patriots (9-9) will now prepare for their game against Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA). The Raiders go into the 5A District 9 game with a 13-9 record. In their last game, Archbishop Rummel overcame Jesuit (New Orleans, LA), 4-2, in a league game.
The Purple Knights (0-9) will now prepare for their game against Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA). The Tigers go into the 5A District 9 game with a 4-7 record.
