In Friday's league game, the host Patuxent Panthers baseball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Northern Patriots.
The Panthers (6-0) will now prepare for their game against North Point (Waldorf, MD). The Eagles go into the Southern Maryland game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, North Point was edged by Lackey (Indian Head, MD), 17-5, in a league game.
The Patriots (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD). The Hurricanes go into the Southern Maryland game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Huntingtown tipped Stone (Waldorf, MD), 22-0, in a league game.
