The Mavericks now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Arkansas City for a non-league test on Friday, April 8. Maize South will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Newton (Newton, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, McPherson drops to 1-3 on the season. The Bullpups host Hays (Hays, KS) to meet the Indians in a non-league test on Friday, April 1. The Indians come into the test with a record of 2-1. Hays lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Valley Center (Valley Center, KS)
