Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA), 12-8 in a non-league test.
With the win, Byrd upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Terriers travel to Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA) to battle the Titans in a non-league test on Saturday, April 2. The Titans come into the test with a record of 2-0.
With the defeat, Carroll County falls to 2-1 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Pulaski County (Dublin, VA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Monday, April 11. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 4-1.
