The St. Pius X Sartans baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Grants Pirates to 1 in the Sartans league victory on Friday.
The Sartans (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Bosque (Albuquerque, NM). The Bobcats go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Bosque tipped Socorro (Socorro, NM), 6-2, in a non-league match.
The Pirates (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM). The Bobcats go into the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Bloomfield was overwhelmed by San Juan (Blanding, UT), 7-5, in a non-league match.
