Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Del Oro Golden Eagles (Loomis, CA), 9-7 in a league test.

The Wildcats now have a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vista del Lago for a Sierra Foothill League test on Tuesday, April 5. Whitney will face a Eagles squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Folsom (Folsom, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-1.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles face the Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA) in a Sacramento Valley test, on Tuesday, April 5. Del Oro will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Grizzlies come into the test with a 10-1 record after their 12-10 non-league loss to Redwood (Larkspur, CA).
