In Friday's non-league test, the host Hoover Vikings lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-8 victory over the Wadsworth Grizzlies.
The Vikings now have a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hudson for a Region 2 test on Wednesday, April 6. Hoover will face a Explorers squad coming off a 14-9 league loss to St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH). The Explorers record now stands at 2-1.
In their next game, the Grizzlies face the Roosevelt Rough Riders (Kent, OH) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 5. Wadsworth will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Rough Riders come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH).
