In Friday's league battle, the host Gonzaga Prep Bullpups soccer squad scored a close 5-1 win over the Cheney Blackhawks.
The Bullpups (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Ridgeline (Liberty Lake, WA). The Falcons go into the battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Ridgeline by Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA), 3-1, in a league battle.
The Blackhawks (0-9) will now prepare for their battle against North Central (Spokane, WA). The Wolfpack go into the 3A/4A Greater Spokane battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, North Central nipped Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA), 2-0, in a league battle.
